September is Save Your Photos Month.
What does that mean? It is a reminder that our precious memories will not last forever unless we
take action now. APPO (The Association of Personal Photo Organizers) developed this campaign to
teach the public how to protect their pictures and videos so they can share them for many generations.
Visit www.saveyourphotos.org to join their free online summit. I am proud to be a member of APPO and this great initiative.
It breaks my heart to see damaged photos and photo albums like the one pictured above. I am working on preserving her pictures and getting them out of this broken album and into a beautiful archival box. When I am finished, she will be able to access her photos online and share them with her family.
