Are your family memories safe?

I don't know about you, but I am a huge fan of the NBC show This Is Us. I love this show!

On Sunday after the big football game, they aired the episode called Super Bowl Sunday. I won't divulge any details in case you have not been able to watch this episode yet. However, I do want to bring up an important point in the show.  The possibility of losing physical memories such as photo albums, VHS tapes, and old slides.

Where are your family memories? Do you still have VHS tapes? When was the last time you put them in the VCR and watched them? Are you confident the tapes have not broken down and you can no longer watch them? When we lose loved ones it can be comforting to look at old photos and watch videos of our loved ones.

This past year I had all my VHS tapes converted to flash drives. My flash drives are also backed up on the cloud and on an external hard drive. I will always be able to watch these videos and remember the ones I have lost. To me this is priceless.
