The Good Ones

A few months ago I was invited to participate in a Product Advisory Group for the Good Ones app. I have been using it for a while and love it. It is currently FREE and only for iPhone users. Typically, I warn my clients to stay away from any free product, because you will be the product. This is not the case with Good Ones.

If you're like most people you probably have thousands of images saved, many of them duplicates or slightly different versions of the same scene. And if you're like most people, you probably don't have time to sort through them and pick out the best ones. That's why GoodOnes came up with an app that can do it for you. A little AI assistant named Ollie sorts through your photos and suggests the ones to highlight. It'll find the best smiles, the best sunsets, and the most in-focus shots so that you only keep the "GoodOnes". This was always my struggle; choosing which of the 10 similar shots was the best one, so I absolutely love this feature.

Once you download Good Ones, it will sort your photos into monthly folders, then in batches. This is a great feature, breaking down the organizing into bit-size batches. Click on a batch to start working through your camera roll. Scroll right for the photos you like. These will be your "best ones", scroll left for "the rest". You can also delete photos here. One thing to keep in mind is the Good Ones app doesn't alter your iPhone photos. So if you delete a photo in Good Ones it is still in your iPhone camera roll and in a folder called Good Ones Trash.

At the top of the app, you can track your progress to see how many best photos you have, batches done, and photos sorted. At the bottom of the app click one of the icons and you will see how many best photos you have per month, how many are rest and how many are trash.

Give Good Ones a try. I'm confident you will love it.
