Create a Video Montage on iPhone in 5 Easy Steps

iMovie allows you to produce fun and professional movies on your iPhone or iPad.

Step 1: Open iMovie then click on Movie then New Project.

Step 2: The Moments will come up. Touch and hold images to preview photos at a larger size or to play video clips.

Step 3: Tap the photos and video clips you want to include in your movie. (You can tap individual items or tap Select to choose an entire moment. Selected items appear with a blue checkmark icon)

*Note: To view your video clips, photos, and albums, tap Media at the top of the screen.

Step 4: Tap Create Movie at the bottom of the screen. iMovie will magically create your movie. Click the play button to see your creation. You can also click the settings wheel on the bottom right to change the soundtrack, filter, and add fades.

Step 5: When you’ve finished your project, SAVE VIDEO (this saves to Camera Roll); as always, IMPORT your device photos and videos immediately via the Cloud or Dropbox, or at least weekly to your computer so they are backed up.

The other two options are Movie Magic and Storyboards.

With Movie Magic, you can create 4K-resolution movies and "Hollywood-style" trailers. Edit your clips together, then add animated titles, music, filters, and effects.

Storyboards have fun templates like Cooking, Gaming, Product Review, etc. Play around with this one when you have time.
